AliMed Stroke Cushions with Low-Profile Solid Seat Insert meets the wheelchair positioning needs of stroke patients. Made of rigid, closed-cell foam, the SSI has a concave bottom to fill a wheelchair's sagging sling seat. Low-profile cushion allows the user's legs to reach the floor so he or she can self-propel the wheelchair. Gel/cushion interface helps prevent window edema by creating a gradual pressure transition between the firmness of the solid seat insert and the soft, pressure-relieving gel insert. Front waterfall edge reduces pressure at distal edges of thighs.
