Flame Snuffer

The leading cause of house and apartment fires each year is oven and grease fires which has caused many to lose their homes and loved ones. For further protection and safety, store a Flame Snuffer in your kitchen for easy access in case of emergency.

Constructed of a flame proof, fire snuffing material, the Material Snuffer is a kitchen fire blanket only intended for the use of snuffing stovetop fires confined to pots and pans. The Flame Snuffer is not intended for use on fires that have spread further than the stovetop, electrical fires, chemical fires, or trash/paper fires. Featuring Velcro attachments that make storing the Fire Snuffer on the inside of your cabinets easy and accessible, the Fire Snuffer creates increased home safety and peace of mind for any home, apartment, or office.

1. Turn burner off.
2. Remove Kitchen Fire Blanket from pouch.
3. Open to full size.
4. Drop over fire.
5. After one minute, partially lift Kitchen Fire Blanket to see if fire is extinguished. If fire is not out, drop the Kitchen Fire Blanket back over the fire and check again in one minute.

CAUTION: Kitchen Fire Blanket may be hot. Use pot holder to grasp, lift, or remove Kitchen Fire Blanket.

Emergency Notice: If fire spreads beyond pot or pan, do not use the Kitchen Fire Blanket. Use standard chemical fire extinguisher or call 911 or local emergency number. Never use water in an attempt to extinguish a grease fire.
