Is the pillow machine washable/dryable?

Yes. Use a mild detergent with cold water and the gentle setting. Dry using a medium heat setting.

Sorry I forgot to also ask, if this is indeed the fluffy pillow and not just a cover, is it safe/recommendable for allergic asthma patients? Thanks again!

It is a naturally hypoallergenic pillow. You would want to check with your physician; we could not recommend as product if a patient has asthma issues.

Is this the actual fluffy pillow or is it just a pillow cover/sham? I wanted to make sure because most online pillow sales say they sell the filling separately. Thanks!
