Description

The Med-Surgical Shoe protects injured feet and provides support during post-operative recovery. The original Med Surgical shoe was invented over 25 years ago and has since become known as the industry standard. Med-Surgical Shoe have a strapless forefoot closure eliminates buckle pressure on the forefoot. You can even expand Med-Surgical Shoe to accommodate dressings up to 17" in circumference. The removable insole is fully customizable with over twice the padding.

This shoe is mostly supportive and comfortable, but I have had a little difficulty around my ankle. There is a space between the ankle strap and foot adjustments that gets swollen after being on my foot for a period of time. I have tried a few different adjustments and different socks and I am hoping that this will lessen over time before I transition into an athletic shoe. Also, it is important to find a shoe for the other foot that is almost at the same height, in order to keep your gait balanced. I was very pleased with the quick delivery of this item, as it came very shortly after being ordered.

I had a stress fracture and the boot the doctor gave me had a strap break and I was having trouble keeping it on. I found this one on line, ordered it and had it 3 days later. I just wished it were a little bit thicker in the sole. I loved the straps on it though. I was able to get a better fit with it than with the one the doctor gave me.

I ordered this and in two days it was at my house. It is a great product for those just healing from major foot surgery and need to drive to work. Of course this was 8 weeks after surgery. Great Product!
