Unique design features a seat riser made of 2 parts that are hinged together, allowing the ring to be lifted in the same manner as your regular toilet seat. The seat is installed using the existing toilet seat and lid and does not appreciably change the appearance of the toilet. It elevates the seating position by 3¨ (7.6 cm) for easy sitting and rising. The hinged benefit makes cleaning as easy as 1-2-3. Supports up to 350 lb. (159 kg). Hardware kit included.

They have worked wonderful! Not only do they help elevate the toilet to where I can get up, but they are not real noticeable on the toilet, and the lid is hinged so it can be put down also. I am well pleased!!

Needing a permanent elevated seat, this model was the only one I could find that also had a hinge making it easier for the men when standing. The elevated part does not need to be removed. Once the seat is in place and the regular toilet cover put on, that's it. Done! It might not look great, but if you have one of those old 14" height toilets, and it cannot be replaced because it's bolted into the wall and floor, this is a wonderful option. I now have my "comfort height" seat. At my age, comfort counts! I bought one, then once we were able to try it out, I bought a second one for the other bathroom.
