Description

Elta Block contains micronized zinc (Z-Cote) for broad spectrum UV-A protection, as well as chemical sunscreens (methoxycinnamate and octyl salicylate) for UV-B protection.

Elta Block 30 is a combination block and light moisturizer for daily use on face, hands and arms; it is excellent under makeup. Use in conjunction with Retin-A therapy, with photosensitive medications, and after plastic surgery to protect and moisturize. Strong UV-A coverage can help stop photo-aging from sun rays.

Elta Blocks are PABA-free and safe for sensitive skin.

Ingredients

Octyl Methoxycinnamate (7.5 %), Octyl Sallicylate (5.0 %), Zinc Oxide (4.5 %)

Other Ingredients:
Bees wax, castor wax, cetyl dimethicone, cetyl dimethicone Copolyol (and) polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate (and) hexyl laurate, disodium EDTA, isopropyl Myristate, isopropyl palmitate, methylparaben, paraffin, petrolatum, sodium chloride, propylene glycol, propylparaben, water.

Instructions

Apply 30 minutes before exposure to sun, Rub in thoroughly and reapply as necessary.

My husband and I are windsurfers and spend a LOT of time in the sun. Over the years we've used bottles and bottles of this stuff. We put this on in the morning before heading out to the beach and rarely get sunburned. I like that it has no smell. It feels thick going on but once applied you hardly know it is there. You can reapply it on wet skin. My skin is light so I wouldn't go to the beach without it!
