It took a little getting used to, I used to have a pair that you had to pull apart. Just squeeze the handle to get a grip on the jar, its too easy! I wish I had purchased these sooner!!

There is a spring in the handle of these which always you to only use one hand, my absolute favorite part about these jar grips. I use Ball jars and so far they have worked out just fabulously.
