How do I place an order?

First you will need to browse or search for the items you would like to order. Our search bar is located on the top of every page. You will also find categories to browse through in the left hand menu. When you find an item that you are interested in purchasing, click the title or name of the item to see its detailed information page. If you decide you would like to purchase an item simply click on the add to cart button button. You will immediately be brought to your cart, from here you can continue browsing or proceed to check out by clicking on the secure checkout button. Fill out the form with your information and then click secure checkout once again. Lastly, review your order information and then confirm your order by clicking the submit button.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can check the status of you last order any time by simply logging into your Colonial Medical account. The status of your last order will display at the top of your dashboard page. If you would like to view information about orders prior to your last click on the orders tab (only available to those who are logged into their accounts).

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Purchase Orders.

How do I return an item?

To return an item your need to first obtain a Return Authorization Number. To ensure prompt return processing, please be sure to record your return authorization number on the outside of your package.

What is your return policy?

If the merchandise you received is defective or not as you ordered, please call our customer service department for speedy resolution. All other returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. ($10.00 minimum)

  • Product must be in new, resalable, unmarked condition in original packaging.
  • Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of invoice date.
  • Custom made products are not returnable.

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days from receipt of goods. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

Colonial Medical Assisted Devices cannot accept the return of bathing, hygiene or feeding products unless they are unopened in original packaging.

Sexual Health items are not returnable.

Who pays for return shipping?

All return shipping charges are at customer expense.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Where does your company ship from?

Our warehouse is located in Nashua, New Hampshire.

How long will it take to ship an item?

All orders placed before 3 P.M. EST Monday through Friday will be shipped the very same day, as long as the product is in stock at our warehouse.

I ordered Next Day Air, but my order was not received the very next day, why not?

Most of the time orders placed before 3:00 P.M. EST, Monday - Friday, will ship them same day. If you place a Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air order after 3:00 P.M. EST it will not ship until the following business day. Please note, Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air orders shipped on Friday will not arrive until the following Monday (the next business day) or if shipped 2nd Day Air they will arrive on Tuesday (2 business days from Friday).

How does quantity pricing work?

On select items we provide quantity pricing. The price of the item will be automatically adjusted when you add the minimum quantity needed for discounted pricing to your cart. To see if an item has quantity pricing simply look for a quantity pricing chart that will appear to the right of the product's image.

When I enter my credit card information I get an error message that says "Code 2/Sub 1", what does that mean?

In most cases, this error means that your billing address did not match the address your credit card company has on file or your CVV Security code did not match what is listed on the back of your credit card.

Do you accept Medicare or other forms of insurance?

No, at this time we do not accept third party payments.

Will I receive emails about my order?

Can I reprint my web order receipt?

Yes, if you have an account simply login and go to the Orders tab.

Can I cancel an order once it has been placed?

Unfortunately we cannot make changes on orders that have already been placed. When orders are placed they are processed and sent out for shipping right away to insure prompt delivery.

How do I redeem my Colonial Medical coupon or discount codes?

During the checkout process there is a box for you to enter and apply any coupon or discount codes you may have received.

Will I be charged sales tax?

No, there is no sales tax in New Hampshire, the state we are based in.

How do I create an account?

You can create an account with us at Colonial Medical by clicking on the register tab located at the top of every page or by opting to fill out a small registration form when checking out.

When I try to register I get a message that says I have already registered, why?

If you tried to registered and receive an error message that you have already registered, but you have not registered with us before, it could be that someone has already chosen the username you selected. Try entering something unique for your username such as your first initial and last name or your email address.

How do I log out of my account

There are several log out options available to you. First you can log out by clicking on the logout button in the upper right hand corner of every page. Additionally, you can go to the My Account menu and select logout option at the bottom.

How do I change my shipping and billing information?

You may change your shipping and billing information by logging into your account and visiting the Edit Billing & Shipping page under the My Account tab.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password by going to the My Account tab and clicking on the Change Password option.

How do I update my email address?

You can update your email address by visiting the My Account menu located at the top of every page and selecting the Change Email Address option.

How do I sign up to receive special discounts and coupons?

There is an option to sign up located at the bottom of every page. In addition, there is an option to sign up for our newsletter when checking out.

How do I view my order history?

You can view your order history by clicking on the orders tab once you have logged into your account.

If I forgot my password how can I retrieve it?

On the sign in page there is a button called recover password that will allow you to recover your current password.

How can I set up automatic ordering?

How can I save a product to my favorites?

At the top right of every product page there is a save icon that will add the current product to your favorites list.


How do I find a product I am looking for?

If you have a specific product in mind you can utilize the search bar located at the top of every page. If you would like to browse through our wide selection of products look for the left hand sidebar there you have a list of department categories available for you to choose from. Also, you can switch the left hand menu view from department to body part, ailment, manufacture or new items.

What does product ratings mean?

The rating system is as followings:
Each reviewer is given a poll for an overall rating and a section for comments. The rating is a score out of five stars.

1 Star - I didn't like this product at all
2 Stars - I don't really like the product very much
3 Stars - I neither like or dislike this product
4 Stars - I liked this product but there were some aspects I didn't like
5 Stars - I really liked this product

What is the product FAQ section for?

The FAQ sections allows you to see questions that other customers have asked about the item and what the responses were.

How do I learn more about a product?

You can learn more about a product by view the detailed information page. There you can read a detailed description as well as key features. We also have customer review available for viewing as well as any FAQs that may have been submitted about the product.

Can I order an item by product number?

Yes, just type the SKU into the search bar and you will be brought directly to that products information page.


How do I unsubscribe to Colonial Medical's newsletters?

You may unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE link located at the bottom of every newsletter.
