mute scales

I'm right at 500#; so the scales weigh me, kinda. They bounce around and never steady out on one weight. The scales have to hold steady for a couple of seconds for them activate the voice thingy. So I just kinda take a average of where they are balancing out at and gofrom there. At least they give me a better idea of how much I weigh than my doctors scales. She's got a cheap set of balance beam scales with and extra weight to weigh heavier patients on, but she has them sitting on padded carpet in a corner no less. Not only am I rubbing shoulders with the wall I'm also rubbing on the upright in front of me and teetering from the carpet. So I guess for the 29 bucks + shipping and handling thier OK. I'll live with them until I either lose some weight or hit the lottery so I can get an industrial set of scales that will be more accurate.

It's a blabbermouth!

Nice stable base with extended weight range. Works great! However, there are no secrets. Haven't checked to see if I can shut this blabbermouth up. LOL!
