Explore Social Skills Card Set

There are 50 social skills specific to a high school environment that are taught in this program. Each skill has five or six steps that have to be taught and mastered to fulfill the goal of each. While these skills can be modified to meet standards specific to your school, the proficiencies taught here establish a model of necessary social skills essential to attain social competency and be successful in school, community and workplace. Explore Social Skills is for all students, particularly those who struggle mastering the subtleties and demands of behavioral expectations. Every student should learn them in order to be competent in communicating and interacting with others.

The Card Set has 50 laminated cards that fold to 4 x 6-inches. The card front shows a large theme photo and a brief text description of the skill, for example, Getting Ready for School. Inside, each skill is broken down to five steps with clear, concise and easy to "read" photos. On the back, a self-talk story provides a skill attainment strategy.
