I am pleased with the stocking aid but concerned that the straps used to pull up the socks will not last (tear off) the aid after a few uses.

I purchased this to replace a hard plastic sock holder that had cracked. I wish I had stayed with the plastic holder. On this sock "aid" the fingers compress in the sock, making it difficult to push my foot in and the outside terry cloth makes it difficult to pull the sock on and hard to get the sock off the aid without manual tinkering which is what I was trying to avoid. No matter how many times I use it, it doesn't get any easier.

it looks like it should work fine, but I can't seem to get my sock on the right way to be able to get my foot in it to pull up. Louanne Logan
