Unique dual-strapped backpack enables a patient to be active and mobile with their oxygen supply system.

  • Double padded in the rear to minimize the pressure from the cylinder against the back.
  • Entire oxygen system is concealed within the confines of the bag. The only piece of equipment which is visible is the cannula tubing which exits the bag through a small grommet, travels under the patient's arm, and rests over their patient's ears.
  • Constructed of washable, heavy-duty denier.
  • Padded shoulder straps with sternum strap.
  • Large easy-grab zipper pulls.
  • Embroidered carrying handle for easy pick up.
  • Large zippered pocket for miscellaneous supplies.
  • Outside stuff cord.

Poor workmanship

The first one I ordered came with a broken latch between the two straps. The replacement I received came with one of the loop tags not sewn on the back that holds the elastic cord. Instead of replacing it a second time, I had my wife sew the broken tab. After about a year, one of the zippers broke. A month later, another zipper broke, (looks like a weak link with these units). Other than this unit not being the best quality in the world, it held the tank just fine, but I had to put a piece of thick cardboard on the bottom of the backpack because the tanks were wearing the fabric out. If I could find a replacement that was made out of the same fabric and not flimsy nylon, I'd purchase it, but since I can't find anything, I'll be ordering another of the same and holding my breath. I should have written a report the first time, but I figured it was just a fluke and to give them a second chance. Well, they flunked, report! Check back in a while and see where this goes. Bye for now! :-)

Nice back pack. Have you considered a twin cylinder back pack? Also, it would be nice if you had a meter on the back pack strap, so that you would know what is in your tank without taking the back pack off.
