I bought this commode pad for my 86-year-old mother at the request of her caregiver, who said that Mom refused to sit long enough on the hard toilet seat to finish her business. The pad could be thicker, but it was cheaper than others which cost hundreds of dollars, and it meets the need. The shipping was fast and easy.
