We have a room off the garage for storage, it would fill up with bugs over time, we put the guard on the door, COMPLETE 100% SUCCESS! Bug free ........ with that we had a bedroom door that faces north going out on a patio, when the storms would blow in from the north we would have rain come in under the door, we slipped a guard in for the rainy season, 100% SUCCESS! Inside carpet stays dry now, we tried everything, this was the easiest solution and it worked.

I found the foam inserts supplied with the guards to be too small. I have one room where the flooring goes from carpet to linoleum tile and the draft guard would not cover the opening. But, I bought a length of PVC pipe and cut it to length and it worked fine.
