TraxIt Children's Axillary Thermometer
TraxIt adheres to the armpit and may be left in place on normal, healthy, intact, hairless skin for up to 48 hours. They are designed to reduce the risk of cross infection or re-infection that can occur with other thermometer systems. The first reading is available 2-3 minutes after the thermometer is first applied - thereafter, readings are continuous. Just lift the arm to read the temperature as often as you like, even while the patient is asleep.
