While cruntches will develop your upper abs, you must perform hanging leg raises (shown in the detailed photo below) to develop your lower abs. Although diet and cardio both play a major role in developing your six pack, you will never obtain a washboard stomach without performing hanging leg raises.
Here is an ideal abdominal workout. You should perform this workout 3 times a week, it should not take you any longer than 10 minutes. Rest no longer than 30 seconds between your sets.
