I know this walker is supposed to be used mainly indoors but I use it everywhere. The skis would probably last longer, but I think the skis hold up very well outside too. I wouldn't trade anything for my walker as it fits good on my trike and my camping scooter. These skis even hold up well at campgrounds too.
