These work very well and have made a small couch and chair much more functional and comfortable. The furniture still feels very stable, just taller! Exactly what we wanted. The only drawbacks are the rubber gaskets that go on the bottom of the risers. They are hard to get on, and come off very easily if you move the furniture piece at all; but they do help hold the furniture secure. Some written instructions would have been helpful. Very glad we got them; more substantial than those we saw in stores.
