Available as an addition to most wheelchairs, the Elevated Footrests are designed to keep patients feet comfortable and out of the way. The Elevating Footrests feature a padded back that supports the lower leg, and a chrome pedal for the foot to rest on. The footrest can be elevated to suit the preference of the patient and can be removed as easy as they are installed.

Do you think they would work on a transport chair as well?

I was under the impression that all wheelchairs had footrests, but after I found myself in one I came to realize that many are just a frame, two wheels and a seat/backrest. After ordering these footrests I found out just how valuable they really are. First off they were easy to install, as long as you have a screwdriver then you are all set. The footrests can be folded out of the way which is a nice option, but when in use they are durable and keep my feet out of the way. Anyone with a footrestless wheelchair shouldn't delay any longer, buy these!

These footrests are a relatively simple product, but they do add quite a bit of comfort/convenience for patients spending a sizable amount of time in a wheelchair. I've attached these to multiple wheelchairs, I'm pretty sure that they would fit on just about any model out there.
