Description

Double Tread Socks are slipper socks with non-skid bottoms. Double Tread Socks are the same slippers that are "hospital issue" in many hospitals. Double Tread Sock are designed for safety with skid resistant treading. Soft terry cloth on the inside provides extra soft comfort while absorbing any perspiration.

The double tread design provides skid-resistant treading on the top AND bottom of the slipper for more coverage. Helpful for those whose foot movements cause slippers to rotate on feet.

What length do The bariatric double tread socks come in.

They are Crew length. They will come up above your ankle and about 1/4 the way up your calf.

Do the bariatric have the non-skid on both sides? Picture shows only on one side. Thanks

According to the size chart XLarge is for Adult 10-11. We suggest going a size bigger when ordering these socks.

Our group ordered fifty pairs to be given to hospitalized veterans. We ordered the large size socks so that they could be used by more veterans. Well the Large looked like a very small size. They seem to be about 9 inches from the end of the cuff to the tip of the toe. Not much coverage there for anyone other than a very small foot. But we will give out at Christmas so that they still have a gift.

What do you do when shopping for foot size 14? You use up your time looking around for a good product in the correct size. After several unfortunate tries with other tread socks that claimed their sock fits up to size 13, which they don't. I found this Colonial Medical XXXL double tread sock and will use them exclusively. Through the hit and miss approach I waisted money on other brands. Even if God gave you smaller feet, this is the double sided sock you are looking for, especially if you are up and roaming the house as I'm blessed to be able to do. These socks, after some practice, can be slid on using a rope and saddle type sock dinner. Big feet or small feet this is the tread sock for you.
