Description

Deluxe Metatarsal Cushion has two layers of soft polyfoam to provide extra plantar padding for the metatarsal heads. It absorbs shock and reduces friction to help ease pain and prevent calluses. Cushion slips on over the toe to stay in place. Nylon lining for extra comfort and durability.

Instructions

DIRECTIONS
Slip loop over second toe and position Cushion under the ball of your foot. Pull on hosiery carefully. Readjust as necessary.

CARE
Hand wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Press flat in towel to remove excess moisture. Air dry completely before reuse.

WARNINGS
Do not use if you have diabetes or poor circulation. If numbness, discoloration, irritation or additional pain occurs, discontinue use immediately.

Would the metatarsal cushions be appropriate for treatment of hammer toe, ie, drawing it into alignment , so as to avoid rubbing by the shoe?

No, it is only for cushioning under the metatarsal heads, not for aligning toes.

My doctor thinks that the pads need to be thicker with more padding. If you have enything like that , I would be interested in knowing about them. They do stay on my feet unlike the ones with the elastic that roll off. Overall better than nothing, and priced well for what they are.

The idea is great but I will never understand why the cushion on such products is terrible . I would think that because the cushion is for relief it should be made of the best material and something that would last longer than a couple of weeks

I had been having a pain in my right foot at the ball of my feet but not on my left foot. I thought I would give this product a try and I am glad I did because now my right foot doesn't bother me! It has even help up well to routine washings thus far.
