Do the 4" risers raise the bed 4" or do I need to subtract the lip depth (can you provide the lip depth?)? I really need 4" of additional storage space under my bed so I just want to confirm this. My bed posts are also 3" and round, but it sounds like that should fit. Thanks.

The lip depth is just under an inch so the bed elevation would be closer to 3 inches.

Worked perfectly. Just what I wanted . Lifted the couch up just enough. Hard heavy plastic. Look like feet. Nobody can tell they are risers.

these chair risers were a blessing! After having both hips replaced our sofa and chairs were too low for comfort; these risers perfectly raise both 4 inches making them much more comfortable to get out of.
